Liverpool boss Arne Slot termed the talks of defending their Premier League title premature following his side's 3-0 loss to Manchester City away from home on Sunday. It marked the Reds' five league defeat of the campaign, and send their side down to eighth place, eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
