A peaceful neighbourhood was shattered after a terrifying home invasion horror that saw a woman armed with scissors breaking in and launching a frantic fight for survival. ‌

Steve and his wife Jane recalled how their tranquil life on Russell Island in Queensland, Australia , turned into a living nightmare when a stranger appeared in their home just as they were waking up. ‌
