A man has been stabbed multiple times in a horror broad daylight attack with police on the scene and an area has been cordoned off.

Emergency services rushed to the St Ann's area of Nottingham after a man was stabbed at around 12.50pm today (Monday, November 10). Abbotsford Drive, St Ann's, has been cordoned off by Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service while they investigate the incident with the condition of the man not revealed.

Police believe this is an isolated incident and that it does not pose any risk to the wider public. They are now appealing for witnesses to the stabbing and have urged anyone with any information to come forward "without delay" emphasising that how insignificant it may appear they still want to hear from the public.
