A 39-year-old driver was killed and another seriously injured in a violent head-on crash late Saturday in Woodlawn, authorities said.
According to Baltimore County Police, officers were called to the intersection of Security Boulevard and Woodlawn Drive just before 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, where there were reports of a collision.
Investigators determined that a 2014 Ford Econoline E-350, driven by Alexis Williams, was traveling east on Security Boulevard when it struck a 2022 Toyota Tundra head-on as the truck attempted to make a left turn onto Woodlawn Drive from westbound Security Boulevard.
Police said Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver of the Toyota was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
