The New York Giants fired head coach Brian Daboll on Monday.
New York announced that offensive coordinator and assistant head coach Mike Kafka will finish the season as interim head coach. The Giants dismissed Daboll, a former member of Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots coaching staff, after a Week 10 loss to the Chicago Bears.
The organization also confirmed that Joe Schoen will remain the general manager and spearhead the search for a new head coach .
