MANDAN, N.D. — The Dickinson Mavericks didn’t have the best finish to the 2025 regular season. DHS went 1-3 in its four-game road trip to conclude the season, with those losses including two reverse sweeps and a game where Dickinson failed in every aspect of the game.

But it’s a 0-0 slate heading into the postseason, and the Mavericks still remain optimistic heading into the Western Dakota Association Tournament.

“The girls had a lot more energy going into [Bismarck] Legacy,” Mavericks head coach Taylor Hafner said. “They started off those first two sets pretty aggressive, which was great. And our blocking was so much better in those first two sets too.”
