In Metpally town, Jagtial, Yella Anvesh allegedly attacked his father, Ganganarsaiah, 78, with a stick over delays in arranging his marriage. The father succumbed to injuries at a Nizamabad hospital. Police have registered a case and begun investigation.

Jagtial: Upset over his parents not arranging his marriage, a youngster killed his father by attacking him with a stick in Metpally town.

According to police, Yella Anvesh of Boyawada frequently argued with his father, Ganganarsaiah, 78, over the delay in performing his marriage. As the marriage was not finalised, Anvesh is said to have developed a grudge against his father.

On Sunday, another argument broke out between them and as the quarrel intensified, Anvesh allegedly attacked his father with a stick, causing severe head injuries.
