Landon Jackson waited patiently for an opportunity with the Buffalo Bills .

Buffalo’s 2025 third-round pick was inactive multiple times this season due to the team’s depth at the position, but Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins seemed like his chance to make an impact. Michael Hoecht suffered a torn Achilles the previous week in Buffalo’s win against the Kansas City Chiefs while A.J. Epenesa was out with a concussion. With limited defensive ends, Jackson seemed poised to play significant snaps.

Unfortunately, that is not how things played out. On his second snap of the game, Jackson fell to the ground grabbing his knee. He was ruled out of the game shortly thereafter and now it seems as though his rookie season is over.
