FOXBOROUGH - The Patriots situation at running back is a major concern ahead of Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets.
Rhamondre Stevenson has missed the last two games with a toe injury, while Terrell Jennings left Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay with a left knee injury.
While Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said those players were being “evaluated” in terms of their status for the game, Jennings was present in the locker room on Monday.
Before heading to treatment, he provided a bit of an update.
“I’ll definitely be okay,” he said. “It’s just a little bruise.”
Jennings, who was only in for four carries, said he took a knee to his left quad, and it caused his knee to swell up.
