The November 2025 sales tax allocations were higher than November 2024 in all three Brown County cities, according to information released this week by the Texas Comptroller’s Office. November sales tax allocations reflect taxable retail sales in September 2025. Details below.

BROWNWOOD

The City of Brownwood received $701,326, an increase of 8.28% over November 2024. Fiscal year-to-date (October – November 2025) the City of Brownwood has received $1,295,464, an increase of 8.65% over the previous fiscal year-to-date.

The Brownwood Municipal Development District received $219,792, an increase of 8.14% over November 2024. Fiscal year-to-date the Brownwood MDD has received $414,909, an increase of 8.20%.

EARLY

The City of Early received $225,481, an increase of 31.30% over November 2024.
