With the Louisiana High School Sports Association regular football season over, two Calcasieu Parish teams finished undefeated and eight area schools are in the playoffs.

As the first round of the playoffs, the bi-districts, begin on Thursday, Barbe High School, Hamilton Christian School, St. Louis Catholic High School, Lake Charles College Prep, Vinton High School, Dequincy High School, Iowa High School and Westlake High School will be competing for statewide titles.

The Iowa Yellow Jackets finished the 2025 season undefeated for the first time since 2017 .

With its 10-0 record, Iowa secured the No. 2 seed in the Division II Non-select.
