WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Three people were killed in a crash on Monday in Wilson County. It happened just before 6 a.m. on U.S. Highway 400 and Granby Avenue just west of Neodesha.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a semi was heading north on the highway and that a Hyundai Sonata was heading west on Grandby Avenue. The driver of the Sonata failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by the semi.
The driver, Adam L. Brooks, 21, of Fredonia, and two passengers, Kylie M. Brooks, 21, and Kohen D. Brooks, 2, both of Neodesha, died.
The semi's driver, a 59-year-old El Dorado man, wasn't injured.
The KHP report said three people inside the Hyundai were not wearing seatbelts.
