SUNCOAST, Fla. ( WWSB ) - With Veterans Day approaching tomorrow, the Suncoast is gearing up to honor those who served with a series of parades and celebrations.

All parades will take place Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Sarasota

Sarasota will host its Veterans Day parade starting at 10 a.m.

The parade route begins at Main Street and Orange Avenue and ends at J.D. Hamel Park. A ceremony to honor all who have served in the United States military will begin at approximately 11 a.m. at the park.

Manatee County and Palmetto

Manatee County Veterans’ Council will co-host with the City of Palmetto their Veterans Day Parade — held in Palmetto at the grandstand in Sutton Park.
