SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) - A restaurant in Spartanburg has been exposed to an infected person with measles the South Carolina Department of Public Health said.

As part of the ongoing investigation into the measles outbreak in Spartanburg County, the Department of Public Health said an infected individual visited Kanpai of Tokyo, located at 2300 Winchester Place in Spartanburg.

The DPH said the infected person visited the restaurant on November 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. People who were exposed, especially those without immunity through vaccination or previous disease, should monitor for symptoms through Nov. 23.

Symptoms include cough, runny nose, and red eyes, followed by a mild to moderate fever. The fever then spikes two to three days later, followed by rashes.
