An official cause of death for KISS legend Ace Frehley has been posted by the New Jersey Morris County Medical Examiner, revealing that the rock icon died as the result of blunt trauma injuries to his head due to a fall.

The report, as obtained by TMZ , confirms that the guitar great died last month as a result from a fall he suffered at his home studio. It also officially rules Frehley’s death as an accident.

Specifically, the legendary rocker suffered a skull fracture, a subdural hematoma (brain bleed), and a stroke due to the fall. After being put on life support, he died at age 74 on October 16th.
