Prince William has described the “tense” standoff he’s having with son George over whether the lad can get his own mobile phone. The 12-year-old is increasingly wanting access to a cool pocket gadget and Wills said it is causing an “issue” in the family .
He is now considering giving the heir a mobile when he attends secondary school, but it’ll be an old-fashioned 90s ‘brick’ style device with no internet access to protect George from the worst bits of the web.
