Several Las Cruces area teams are getting ready for the playoffs, while others saw their seasons come to an end recently.

Mayfield and Hatch Valley were two teams that bowed out in the first round during last weekend's playoff contests. The Trojans and Bears both went on the road, with the former falling to Highland in Albuquerque in the 5A playoffs and the latter losing to Robertson in Las Vegas in the 3A playoffs.
