Monday morning’s first snowfall might have reminded Pulaski County residents that Christmas is on the way, but two local veterans’ organizations officially kicked off the holiday spirit with a generous gift to a program that helps children in need.
AMVETS Post 125 and the Pulaski County VFW joined forces to donate $1,500 to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office’s annual "Shop with a Cop" program. The donation marks the beginning of the holiday giving season and helps ensure the program continues to make Christmas brighter for local families.
