Detroit Lions long snapper Hogan Hatten has opened up following his appearance in a viral video from Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders.
Hatten and the Lions secured a 44-22 away win against Washington in Week 11, with the NFC East outfit now a lot less formidable without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The Lions player appeared to have a conversation with a Commanders fan wearing a Daniels jersey before the latter was seen rushing the field, losing his right sneaker, and then getting wiped out by the Field Incursion Team, who proceeded to escort him out while he tried to get his shoe back on.
Video footage quickly spread on social media, as users suggested that the fan ran onto the field to try to fight Hatten.
The long snapper has since denied being involved in any way,
