LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and other city officials held a press conference on Nov. 10 regarding the clean up of the fatal UPS plane crash.
UPS 2976 crashed shortly after takeoff on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The National Transportation Safety Board says it appears the MD-11F aircraft lost its left engine, resulting in the loss of control of the plane.
The crash killed 14, including the UPS flight crew. The plane crashed into two businesses resulting in the deaths of several on the ground.
The mayor began the conference giving an update on the investigation into the deadly crash, saying NTSB worked through the weekend and continues to work to find out more about how the crash happened. First responders are still on scene as well. Monday, they worked to remove
