WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams head coach Sean McVay confirmed on Monday that Harrison Mevis will start at kicker for a second-straight game against the Seahawks this Sunday in Week 11.
Mevis hit all six of his extra point attempts in his NFL debut versus the 49ers on Sunday and did not attempt a field goal. McVay said they thought about giving Mevis the opportunity to kick during the final drive if a fourth-down opportunity presented itself, but it ultimately didn't pan out that way.
He instead opted for the "classy way" to handle the end of the game when up by multiple scores, and ran out the clock instead. McVay was "pleased" with Mevis' performance and mindset.
