LONG BEACH – Police are investigating a shooting in Long Beach where officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred, yet no injuries were reported, authorities said Sunday.

Officers heard gunshots at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Park Circle, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

“Upon further investigation, officers located evidence indicating a shooting had occurred,” according to a police statement. “Suspect information and the motive for the shooting are under investigation. No injuries were reported.”

There are nearly daily reporting’s of shootings in the city of Long Beach that do not always result in a victim being shot.
