CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Day two of the trial of Terry Connor Jr. and Steven Staples, the men accused of robbing and killing Brooks’ Sandwich House co-owner Scott Brooks, started with security footage.
Court resumed Monday, Nov. 10. Assistant District Attorney Heidi Perlman showed the jury several videos from security footage captured around the time of Brooks’s murder on Dec. 9, 2019.
The first footage came from a home close to the sandwich shop. Three gunshots could be heard, shortly followed by two men running down the road.
Next came footage from inside and outside the sandwich shop, each showing different angles of the crime. Brooks could be seen parking a car and walking up to the door of the restaurant before two men in white hooded sweatshirts holding guns approach him. After ta
