(KRON) -- One of the victims who died in an early morning blaze at a Redwood City liquor store last week is being remembered as a father and husband who sacrificed "precious time with his family to provide them with a better life." Benigno Nuguid Pare, 56, was found dead early on the morning of Nov. 3 when firefighters responded to an active fire where he worked at Avenue Liquor Store on Roosevelt Avenue.
Pare's passing has left "an unfillable void in the hearts of everyone who knew him -- his colleagues, friends, and especially his wife and four children," read a fundraiser created on his behalf.
"Benny was one of the most hardworking, humble, and generous people I've ever met," the fundraiser continued. "He was the kind of person who always showed up with a smile, helped without hesita
