SLIDELL, La. (WFLA) — A suspect with a fake limp, cane and neck brace was caught on camera robbing a bank in Louisiana on Friday.
The Slidell Police Department posted a video of the mid-afternoon bank robbery at Fidelity Bank.
Investigators said the suspect entered the bank and "appeared to be handicapped and/or injured, as he walked with a fake limp, had a cane and a neck brace."
According to police, the suspect then passed a note to the teller while shouting that it was a robbery and started demanding money.
"He then fled the scene (without a limp) with an undisclosed amount of cash," police said.
The suspect was later seen running down a road and into a neighborhood near the bank.
Investigators believe the suspect may have escaped the area in a vehicle.
