Following the Federal Aviation Administration’s announcement last week reducing flights at major airports across the U.S., thousands of flights were canceled over the weekend and the cancellations will continue this week.
On Sunday, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned that the air travel cancellations and delays would continue to spread.
“It’s only going to get worse,” Duffy said, according to USA Today. “I look to the two weeks before Thanksgiving, you’re going to see air travel be reduced to a trickle.”
