Former First Lady Michelle Obama is speaking out about an “infuriating” moment she had aboard Air Force Once with then-President Barack Obama.

Speaking on the “IMO With Michellle Obama and Craig Robinson” podcast she shares with her brother, the former FLOTUS shared about a time when she was getting ready to get off the presidential aircraft with her husband.

Preparing for a vacation hiking trip to the Grand Canyon in August of 2009, Michelle Obama said that she was about to get off Air Force One in Bermuda shorts.

But she said she agonized over the wardrobe choice, knowing that any decision she made would draw public criticism, Newsweek reported.

“The fact that we had to spend time thinking about that kind of stuff in ways that my husband didn’t, it was really infuriating,” Michelle
