Grants of up to $5,000 available for Arizona teachers
Salt River Project is accepting applications for grants of up to $5,000 to help teachers bring innovative learning ideas to their classrooms.
Teachers in elementary and high schools, including throughout Deer Valley Unified School District, can apply now through Feb. 15 for funding to support projects that encourage critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Educators can apply for two types of SRP Classroom Grants:
STEM Education Grants – provides up to $5,000 per school to facilitate innovative teaching methods and improve student performance in science, technology, engineering and math.
History and Social Sciences Grants – offers up to $2,500 to support engaging instruction in history, geography, civics, governm
