Aud Australia has finally confirmed a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) of its new-generation Q5 SUV and Q5 Sportback , in addition to a new "TFSI quattro' petrol variant with all-wheel drive.
Plugging a couple of gaps in the local lineup, the 2026 Audi Q5 range remains fully electrified with both 48V mild-hybrid 'plus' and plug-in hybrid 'e-hybrid' models available in both SUV and Sportback body styles.
The new Q5 e-hybrid quattro and TFSI quattro models will be priced the same, starting from $96,900 plus on-road costs for the SUV, and $100,400 for the coupe-styled Sportback. All four new variants are available to order now, ahead of first deliveries commencing in the first half of 2026.
