Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn addressed the media the day after the team's 44-22 loss to the Detroit Lions. Here are some of his final thoughts before the Commanders turn the page to the Miami Dolphins in Week 11.

-- Quinn started his press conference by announcing a change for the defense: he will be taking over as the play caller for defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr., who he said "took the news like the pro he is."

"As a defensive staff, including Joe, we're all consumed by getting it right, and that's exactly what we intend to do."

Quinn said the defense "felt off" after watching the film from the Lions game and thought now was the time to make a change. Whitt will work with the rest of the staff to plan and prepare for each week's game. He will return to the press box
