CHAMPION, Ohio (WKBN) -- Trumbull Career and Technical Center students are honoring veterans by detailing their cars and trucks.

This is the fourth year Auto Collision Technology students have held Polish for Patriots. Veterans get free washes, waxes and more in honor of Veterans Day.

Army veteran Patrick Harnichar had his SUV detailed and thanked the students.

Students say it feels good to give back.

"It's very nice, the feeling that you get from it is very nice of helping the people out. Like, I'm a very caring person, I really love helping people out," said TCTC senior William Shick.

The students will be detailing 10 cars throughout the week. All of the appointments have been filled.
