Sydney Sweeney is breaking down the “strict” regimen that allowed her to drop 30 pounds in less than two months.

The actress explained to People , in an interview published Monday, that she gained weight for her new boxing film, “Christy,” by “eating so much food.”

To slim down, the 28-year-old stopped working out and cut all of the protein shakes she had been “downing” for the Christy Martin biopic, which allowed her to lose all the muscle she had amassed.

“It’s the first thing to go before fat,” she explained. “So, that, I dropped within two weeks.”

She had also been “taking a lot of creatine” for the role, “which just makes you bloat,” so she “stopped all of that” once filming wrapped.
