BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The three newest members of Bangor City Council took their oath of office Monday morning.

Susan Faloon, Daniel Carson, and Angela Walker were the three top vote-getters among a crowded field of candidates in last Tuesday’s election.

“We all have different and diverse backgrounds. Those experiences and those differences are what are going to give us our strength. And, you know, with me it’s communications and public service and having volunteered, but for others it’s recovery, it’s homelessness, it’s being incarcerated, it’s community organizing and labor. So we have such diverse backgrounds, and that’s going to allow us to relate to the diverse population that we have in Bangor, and I think that’s going to really serve us well,” Faloon said.
