Residents living in Chicago's popular River North neighborhood will soon have another option for grocery shopping.
ALDI, the Batavia-based discount supermarket retailer, is scheduled to open its newest store along Huron Street near Dearborn Street on Thursday, a spokesperson said in a news release. The location will open its doors to the public at 8:20 a.m., when a grand opening celebration commences.
To mark the occasion, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag filled with ALDI-exclusive products and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket giveaway program, the news release stated.
The new location will offer exclusive brands, a weekly lineup of limited time ALDI Finds, organic meats, fresh produce delivered daily and "food for every taste and lifestyle," the chain stated
