Greenville County Schools Superintendent Burke Royster will remain at the helm of South Carolina’s largest school district through 2029.
The school board agreed on Nov. 10 to extend Royster's contract until June 2029 following an evaluation. Categories in the board's assessment included instructional leadership, quality personnel, creating a culture of achievement, organizational, operational and resource management, communications and community relationships.
