A few results of Dickinson County’s general election were decided by write-in votes.

The county finished counting those votes a few days after Nov. 4. Below are the races that were affected by write-in votes.

Solomon

With no regular candidates for Solomon’s three open city council seats, residents cast 203 write-in votes.

The three-most voted write-ins are Colten Kohman with 68 votes, Brian Duryea with 46 votes and Shawn Kirby with 41. Solomon residents voted for over 20 more write-ins.

Enterprise

Marla Griffis and Ralph Appelseth won the two open seats for the Enterprise City Council.

Griffis garnered 43 votes, and Appelseth garnered 17. The public wrote-in 10 other people for city council.
