A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Waterbury in September was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and local police on Monday.
Gerard Brown, 45, of Waterbury was located at residence on Shultas Place in Hartford on Monday morning by U.S. Marshals, the Hartford Police Department Swat Team and the Waterbury Police Department . according to Supervisor Deputy Matthew Duffy of the U.S. Marshals Service .
Brown was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Waterbury on Sept. 15, Officers responded to the report of shots fired outside of 94 Charles St. around 7:50 p.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The man, identified as 29-year-old Frank Garay of Hartford, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
