Sheryl Crandell had complained to security about thefts at the Maryland hospital where she worked. In one of her final emails, retired Prince George’s County police detective Bernard Nelson said, Crandell warned that “eventually someone’s going to end up getting hurt.”
She was killed in a hospital in 1998. Now DNA points to a suspect.
