NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department announced the arrest of a man accused of the targeted murder of a 39-year-old in December 2024.

Detectives arrested 24-year-old Antwane Crenshaw, who’s accused of shooting and killing 39-year-old LaJames Shannon.

Shannon was shot while riding a miniature motorbike near the intersection of Fain Street at Fairfield Avenue.

Police said the two were allegedly involved in an ongoing dispute.

Crenshaw was arrested during a traffic stop on Briley Parkway at Interstate 24. He was found with an AR pistol in his vehicle.

The 24-year-old is jailed on a $250,000 bond.
