Harley Reid’s new look has not proven universally popular at West Coast, with Liam Duggan providing a light-hearted reveal that he’s not a fan of the rising superstar’s fresh hairstyle.

But the Eagles skipper says he is happy the 20-year-old is “bringing his flair to his game” ahead of his third season at AFL level.

Videos posted to Instagram over the weekend by Swickcuts showed off Reid’s trademark flowing blonde hair being braided into tight cornrows, drawing thousands of likes and dozens of supportive comments.

Speaking on Monday morning, Duggan said he was among a group of Eagles who had an early insight at Reid’s new look.
