PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Gov. Katie Hobbs announced $1.8 million in emergency funding to help residents still waiting for federal food assistance benefits , as 800,000 Arizonans remain uncertain about their November SNAP payments.

The funding comes from American Rescue Plan dollars and adds to the $1.8 million Hobbs approved last month. The governor said the Trump administration’s decision to fight the benefits in court has created chaos and increased pressure on local food banks.
