The city of Montreal announced Monday that the construction site on Ste-Catherine St. W will be completely dismantled until January.
According to the announcement, Ste-Catherine St. W. between Peel and de la Montagne Sts., and between Mackay and Pierce Sts., will completely reopen to traffic on Nov. 17.
Guy St. will also reopen between Ste-Catherine St. W and René-Lévesque Blvd. W during the same time period.
The construction project is planned to resume mid-January. The city does not plan any other work during the break, but if an unforeseen event requires an immediate response, it says the public will be warned in advance.
During the winter break, delivery and loading zones will “once again be located in the area where they were before construction began,” the city added.
