Gopal Snacks Ltd on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹25.6 crore for the September quarter of FY26, down 11.1% from ₹28.8 crore in the same period last year.
The FMCG player said the decline was largely due to a fire incident at its Rajkot I manufacturing unit, which disrupted production and supply chain operations during the quarter.
Revenue from operations fell 6.7% year-on-year to ₹375.6 crore from ₹402.6 crore in Q2FY25, while EBITDA dropped sharply by 48.3% to ₹24.2 crore compared with ₹46.8 crore a year ago.
Operating margins contracted to 6.4% from 11.6%, hurt by lower capacity utilisation, higher palm oil import duties, and operational de-leverage.
