Ryan Day’s son, RJ Day, the junior QB of St. Frances DeSales High School, has been setting big records. He is a three-star prospect of the 2027 class with multiple scholarships in hand, but the Buckeyes haven’t offered him yet. That day may come soon as he continues to add to his already impressive resume.
Last Friday, RJ Day led his school, St. Francis de Sales, to a 33-29 win against Ashland, setting a new single-game program record by throwing for 482 yards and three touchdowns. This includes a game-winning touchdown pass to Buckeye target TE Jordan Karhoff. With this, DeSales won the opening game of the OHSAA Region 7 playoff.
Day’s performance made him a nominee for the National High School Boys Athlete of the Week, which features the best performances across the country. Ry
