MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients in New Hampshire remain uncertain about their benefits and whether they'll be available through the end of the month as the government shutdown continues.
On Saturday, the state Department of Health and Human Services announced that all SNAP recipients in New Hampshire would receive their full November benefits.
That announcement came after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration is not required to fully fund SNAP benefits during the shutdown.
Hours later, the U.S. Department of Agriculture told states to undo any steps taken to fully issue November benefits, even though the funds had already been sent.
