DON’T GET SNOWED by the naysayers. Winter tires are worth it. Especially if you hate white-knuckle driving in hazardous conditions.
Before you denounce this as a shameless plug for tire companies or a hoity-toity columnist telling you about another luxury item you should buy, let’s set a few things straight.
First, there doesn’t need to be snow on the road for winter tires (aka snow tires) to be beneficial.
