A young teacher stabbed to death Friday had just wrapped up a home session with a student in Annandale, Virginia.

Fairfax County police called to the 3900 block of Terrace Drive Friday night found 26-year-old Isha Koroma with several stab wounds to the face and neck, police said.

“She’s very young,” a woman who said she knew the victim told News4. “I didn’t expect this happen for her. It’s very, very sad.”

The woman, who did not want her identity revealed due to safety concerns, said Koroma was her daughter’s teacher.

“My daughter is autistic; she is 9 years old,” the woman said. “Isha’s teaching her ADA.”
