SPOKANE, Wash.-- It rained more in Spokane last week than it did the entire summer, and more in the previous five weeks than in the prior six months.

November has started strong in the rain department: 1.22" for the first week of the month.

That makes November 1-7 the wettest week so far this year. The next closest seven-day period in 2025 was 1.15" from February 18-24.

Spokane saw just 0.69" from June through September and just 2.20" from April through September. In the last 40 days, there's been 3.47" in the Lilac City. Even with that amount of rain in recent weeks, Spokane still lags behind the average for this time of the year.

More rain is in the forecast this week.
