LAS VEGAS — In the lead-up to Game 3 of the World Series, Scott Boras greeted a couple of visitors in the club-level seats at Dodger Stadium and relayed a story the way only the super-agent can. It’s early February, roughly 7:50 a.m. on the West Coast, he began, when his phone starts to buzz.
