CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Holiday shoppers can check off their lists while supporting Safe House of Southeast Missouri on Saturday, November 15.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Safe House Thrift Shop Christmas Bazaar returns.
Organizers say there will be Christmas trees, holiday decorations, clothing and more.
All proceeds go to support Safe House’s mission: helping domestic violence victims escape their situation.
New executive director Kim Dixon said the Safe House Thrift Shop, open year-round, provides almost 40 percent of the organization’s budget for non-residential services.
“We’re just happy to be there to help, to support victims who are facing some of the most challenging times of their life, some of the most dangerous times of their life, and so we’re just there to walk alongs
